Board of Advisors

David Ketchum

David Ketchum is a member of our eminent board of Advisors. He is President of faith-based Philanthropy organization called Mission Resource. David’s love for missions and people in Africa on his first mission trip to the continent in 1984.  During this period David was owner and manager of several small businesses in the States (USA).  After seeing the needs and hearing the desires of the people on his trip, he committed to developing and establishing a faith-based economic development organization that provides start-up capital and mentoring for Business as Mission initiatives. He and his lovely wife Sue have been running Mission Resource since April 2003.

Richmond Kwame Frimpong

Richmond is the Co-Chair, Advisory Board for Financial Literacy Foundation Africa with the mandate of ending extreme poverty in 8 out of every 10 Africans by 2030. In the last decade, his work across 46 Countries in 5 Continents globally has been recognized by a number of international organizations like UKAid, MasterCard Foundation, Global Share Alliance, GTY USA, AfDB, ITC (an agency of World Trade Centre), ITU (an agency of World Trade Organization), UNWTO and AfCFTA. As an experienced Investment & Business Advisory Consultant, over 14 years inspiring industry record spanning Financial Services, Technology, Management Consulting, Social Enterprise, and Continental Economic Integration has also earned him a number of awards including the 40Under40 young achievers, 50 Most Influential Young Ghanaians, Top 100 Speakers in Ghana-West Africa, and one of Top 60 young business leaders in Ghana by Coca-Cola. Dr. Frimpong has authored 5 best-selling Personal Development Books and he convenes one Africa’s biggest Tertiary Campuses Career & Entrepreneurial Conference every year reaching over a million lives since 2007.

Richard Okyere-Fosu

Richard Okyere-Fosu is an experienced Information Technology (IT) Professional with over 20 years’ expertise in Technology Advisory and Consulting. He is skilled in business process re-engineering, systems development, network infrastructure, Telecoms, Unified Communication, Voice and Speech-enabled applications. He has worked with the Ministry of Defence – Command Information Systems Centre, UK and the United States Patent & Trademark Office as Programme Director (Federal Operations). He is currently the Director-General for Ghana’s National Technology Information Agency (NITA). Before this role, he was Associate Director for one of Africa’s Biggest Investment Banks.

Evelyn Asamoah Ampofo

Evelyn is a health professional with over 20 years of working experience as a Nursing and Midwifery practitioner and Educator. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Alberta Canada, M.Phil. in Nursing and PG Dip in Education. Evelyn currently holds a faculty position at the university of cape coast and has been the head of the Maternal and Child Health Department of the School of Nursing and Midwifery for the past four years. She is a Fellow of The Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives.

Felix Owusu Donkor

Felix is a Chartered marketer with skills in digital marketing, strategic marketing, marketing management, product/portfolio management, product marketing, and sales. Currently, he works as a Senior Global Customer Marketing Manager for Honeywell UK. He has over 15 years’ experience working in blue-chip organizations in the UK, Sweden, and Germany. Felix holds an MBA in Marketing & Corporate Strategy, BA in Marketing & Economics, and PG Dip in Professional Marketing at the CIM UK.

Bright Evans Darko

Bright Darko is an astute Banker with over 15 years’ experience in both Commercial and Development Banking spanning Credit Risk, Corporate Banking, Export Trade Finance, Products Development, and Projects.  He has an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana and is currently a Deputy General Manager at the Ghana Export-Import Bank (EXIM Bank). His passion is to see an Africa, free of Poverty.

Harry Ofori-Attah

Harry Ofori-Attah is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP, Canada) and holds a Bsc. in Natural Resources Management as well as an LLB from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He is a graduate of the University of Stellenbosch Leadership Development Program from Capetown, South Africa. With over 14 years of industry experience, spanning Insurance brokerage and Insurance underwriting

Thecla Wricketts

Thecla Wricketts is the Executive Secretary for FLF Africa. She is a commercially astute legal practitioner with 8 years’ local and international experience in corporate commercial law, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, employment, immigration, finance, investment, trade, petroleum and tax law practice having worked as an Associate at Bentsi – Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah and as the Africa Legal Specialist and Head of the Africa Legal Department for GB Foods.

Daniel Ansah

Daniel Ansah is Management Advisor responsible for Finance & Operations. He is a Certified Chartered Accountant with over 10years of experience in Financial Management and Reporting, Auditing and Tax Compliance, and Strategic Planning working with multi-national companies. Daniel is a strong business leader and has contributed significantly to the growth of businesses across Africa and other international NGOs including the USAID.

George Appah Kwabeng

His Lordship, Justice George Appah Kwabeng is Management Advisor responsible for Legal & Compliance. He also doubles as an adviser to the Board on legal matters as well. He is a product of Achimota School and the University of Ghana. He is a Chevening Scholar with a Master of Laws in International Business and Corporate Law, with Distinction (Lancaster University, UK). He has over 15 years’ experience as a corporate legal practitioner. He is currently a High Court Judge and a member of the Association of Magistrates and Judges of Ghana.

Ibrahim Assani

Ibrahim Assani is Management Advisor responsible for our People Strategy & Administration. His 12 years + multiple Industry experience working with multinationals in Telecoms, Financial Services, E-Commerce, Logistics & Security, Talent Development & Consulting. His broad-based experience in cross-cultural Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Compensation & Benefits Administration has earned him a number of international awards in Africa including the Best Organization (Perform Category) in Mauritius.

Philip Osei Bonsu

Philip Osei Bonsu is Management Advisor responsible for Corporate Communications. As a Public Relations Professional, Broadcast Journalist, and Corporate Communications Executive; Philip has over ten years’ leadership and managerial experience in the media, power sector, and not-for-profit organizations. He is a Mandela Washington Fellow and a Tullow Scholar. He holds an MSc in Corporate Communications & Public Affairs from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen – Scotland.
